International comparison of electricity and gas prices for commerce and industry - final report October 2011
Résumé
The purpose of this study, commissioned by the CREG and its General Council, is to carry out a comparison of electricity and gas prices for commerce and industry in Belgium and four nearby countries, Germany, France, the Netherlands and Great Britain (GB).
The comparisons refer to standard consumer definitions provided by the CREG for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and different sizes of industrial consumers.
A specific objective is to assess the importance of taxes, levies and financial burdens included in the final prices.
